For the last 5 years of playing guitar Sam Bell has been involved in many musical projects spanning a large array of musical genres from metal, fusion and pop to name a few. Some prominent players that have inspired Sam are Paul Gilbert, Guthrie Govan, and Shawn Lane.
In August 2007 at the age of 18 Sam was featured in Guitar Player magazines D.I.Y guitarist feature after releasing a CD of early recordings. Sam’s keen ear for all types of music have helped him gain many different sessions, in 2008 playing on stage at Goodwood with Tony Moore from the Cutting Crew and in 2009 playing the Broadway hit musical “RENT” securing a place with the New Theatre Royals house band, winning an award for best musical director. Around the same time Sam joined female fronted tech metal band Mask of Judas, playing many large venues supporting some big names in the metal genre such as Tesseract, Shy of the Depth and The Safety Fire. Sam has recently completed a BA hones in Guitar at the British Institute of modern music.
Sam Bell continues to record solo material, and play in Mask of Judas. Whilst also teaching guitar to students in schools around the south of the UK. Sam Bell also continues to play various musicals, guest solos, and contributes to various online guitar websites.
